Angel Power, a free guide by Wendy S. Burton
What is inside

Three simple steps.

1

Introduce yourself

Find a quiet moment, ask your Angel for their name, and trust the very first name that comes to you.

2

Choose three things

Ask for three things personal enough that when they arrive, you will know they were meant just for you.

3

Say thank you

Before your requests even arrive. Gratitude is a beautiful expression of trust, and it says you believe.

A true story from the guide

The Five-Dollar Miracle.

I had promised my sons I would come that weekend and take them to lunch. The problem was, I only had five dollars to my name, and my gas tank was nearly empty.

With my five dollars in hand, I was pulled into the new gas station just around the corner. As I handed the cashier my money, a bell rang throughout the store. I was their one-hundredth customer.

A full tank of gas, and a family-size bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken with all the fixings.

That was the day I stopped calling it luck, and started calling them my Angels.

Who is writing to you

Wendy S. Burton.

I am the author of Amy and the Angels, winner of the 2025 International Impact Book Award, and the host of Winging It with Wendy, a podcast about the moments in people's lives that do not quite fit a tidy explanation.

This guide comes from my chapter "Angel Power" in the anthology Beyond the Shift. It is the same practice that led me to write the book, and the one I still use today.
