The Five-Dollar Miracle.
I had promised my sons I would come that weekend and take them to lunch. The problem was, I only had five dollars to my name, and my gas tank was nearly empty.
With my five dollars in hand, I was pulled into the new gas station just around the corner. As I handed the cashier my money, a bell rang throughout the store. I was their one-hundredth customer.
A full tank of gas, and a family-size bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken with all the fixings.
